Adorable, but season it!

I bought this for my little girl and I to have weekly memory verses. It hangs in the dining room/kitchen area and is SO CUTE. I bought chalk markers in various colors to change it up and they work fantastic, HOWEVER...I will caution you. If you are not using REGULAR chalk sticks and choose to use chalk markers as I did, make sure you "season" your new chalk board first. If not, the chalk markers will never come off, as this board is porous. Overall, its fantastic.
